Timothy McCall, PT, DPT, MSPT, LOMT, Director of Operations

Tim has almost 3 decades of experience as a Physical Therapist across the continuum of healthcare. After receiving his Masters and Doctorate in PT from the University of Michigan, he has worked extensively in outpatient Orthopedic Sports settings throughout the US, as well as acute & post-acute care settings. He has had the honor of working with numerous world class level athletes/organizations and has developed an extensive background in orthopedics, sports medicine, and post-acute neurological based services.

Tim has had the honor of owning his own physical therapy and wellness clinics and enjoys operational leadership and business development roles, treating athletes and patients, mentoring teams and developing staff. He has previously held positions as Director of Rehabilitation and owner of outpatient clinics for patients recovering from basic weekend/sports related injuries to life changing catastrophic injuries.

It is with this experience and knowledge that Tim joins Iron Point Physical Therapy to promote Folsom’s premiere state of the art outpatient physical therapy facility. He is passionate about creating robust programming for the community to include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other life-improving interventions services to all ages.

In his personal life, Tim enjoys yoga, endurance and sport training, live music with friends, cooking, and time with his children.

Payal Karia, DPT

Dr. Payal Karia is an experienced Physical Therapist with a specialization in musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation. With over 12 years of experience in the field of physical therapy, Payal has established herself as a trusted expert. Holding a bachelor’s degree from India and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University, USA, she has successfully treated numerous patients, helping them return to a pain-free and improved quality of life. Payal has worked in different roles from being a Lead PT to a Clinic Director for outpatient services. Payal’s approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, ensuring each patient receives the best possible care.

Outside of the clinic, Payal likes to spend time with her family and friends. She likes cooking and eating healthy.

Collins Wong, BSc. PT (Hons), Physical Therapist

Collins has been a dedicated physical therapist since 2009, gaining extensive experience working with patients of all ages and diverse cultural backgrounds in both outpatient settings and aquatic environments. Her expertise spans orthopedics, sports medicine, and amputation rehabilitation.

Before transitioning to physical therapy, Collins worked as a kinesiologist in Canada, where she specialized in helping patients recover from motor vehicle accident injuries.

In addition to her proficiency in English, Collins is fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin.

Originally from the Bay Area, she now enjoys living in Folsom. She also enjoys cooking, making crafts, hiking and spending quality time with her family.

Mandy Anderson, DPT

Mandy Anderson is an outpatient physical therapist specializing in Women’s Health.  She completed her undergraduate work at Brigham Young University, Provo.  Mandy transferred locally to California State University, Sacramento to earn her Masters in Physical therapy.

Upon graduation,  she took a position in an outpatient clinic specializing in spinal injury for the first two years of her career.  During this time she experienced first hand some of the challenges of aging through watching her grandparents.  One of her grandparents suffered from a severe stroke and needed significant care, including extra care due to incontinence.

Mandy Anderson is an outpatient physical therapist specializing in Women’s Health. She earned her undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, her Master’s in Physical Therapy from California State University, Sacramento, and her Doctorate from A.T. Still University.

After beginning her career in a spinal injury clinic, Mandy developed a strong interest in pelvic health and completed her APTA Women’s Health training in 2021. She is passionate about helping patients overcome incontinence and other pelvic health conditions to improve their quality of life, while also continuing to treat orthopedic populations.

Outside of work, Mandy enjoys spending time with her three children, exploring local trails, attending their activities, and connecting with family and friends.

Nicole Sisson, PTA

Nicole is a Physical Therapist Assistant with over 15 years of experience in both acute care and outpatient settings, treating neurological, orthopedic, and sports-related conditions. She has extensive experience in outpatient neuro rehabilitation, specializing in locomotor training for individuals with spinal cord injuries, stroke, and traumatic brain injuries.

Nicole is especially passionate about working with people with Parkinson’s disease and is a PWR!Moves Certified Therapist. She also holds a Neuro Specialist Certificate through PESI, further supporting her expertise in neurological care.

Originally from Michigan and now based in California, Nicole enjoys staying active through hiking, camping, paddleboarding, yoga, and exploring the outdoors

Paola Race, OTR, CHT

Paola has been an Occupational Therapist since 2001 with 18 of those years in the Hand Therapy specialty. She achieved Certified Hand Therapist status in May, 2011 with Recertification completed om 2021.

Paola’s occupational and hand therapy interests include orthopedic diagnoses with special interest in post-surgical rehabilitation of the hand, wrist, and elbow. She works closely with her patients to find the most appropriate and effective treatment plans.

Paola continues to grow her practice by attending continuing education courses for the evaluation and treatment of upper extremity injuries, as well as mentoring occupational therapy students who strive to learn more about hand therapy.

When away from work, Paola enjoys spending time traveling with family, hiking, biking, skiing and crafting.

Gor Mikayelyan, Physical Therapy Aide

Gor is a dedicated and compassionate physical therapy aide with over a year of experience in providing top quality and careful care to patients in the healthcare setting. He is born and raised in Sacramento, California and has always had a passion for helping others, which has led him to this occupation.

Gor’s role as a physical therapy aide is being responsible for supporting physical therapists, helping patients with exercises and ensuring that they use equipment safely and effectively. His attention to detail and dedication to patient well being has made him a valuable asset to his team.

Gor is also in school right now for Radiology to become a X-Ray tech and wants to continue his education in the medical field.

In his personal life, Gor enjoys working out , playing with his dogs, spending time with family, swimming, and reading books.
